We ordered Caesar salad and antipasto, along with mascarpone dip and homemade meatballs.
This is the part of our order to pay attention to if you like getting a few things for the table. You can build your meal around pizza, but there’s room to go in a different direction with the starters.
The mascarpone dip was one of those additions that took our order beyond the usual pizza-and-salad combination. And yes, we added homemade meatballs too.

Our white pizza combined spinach, a mix of mushrooms, mozzarella, garlic, Pecorino Romano and lemon zest. There’s no tomato sauce on this one—the vegetables, cheeses and garlic are the focus, with lemon zest adding a citrus note.
Spicy Rocco
The Spicy Rocco brings together San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, mozzarella, hot soppressata, hot capicola, pepperoni, Calabrian chili peppers and red onion, finished with hot honey. Between the spicy Italian meats, peppers and honey, this is the sweet-and-spicy choice in our order.
Meat Lovers
The Meat Lovers has San Marzano DOP tomatoes, soppressata, pepperoni, fennel sausage, mozzarella, ricotta and basil. Soppressata is an Italian cured salami, while the fennel sausage brings a different seasoning to the mix. The ricotta adds another layer of cheese alongside the mozzarella.
The Crockett Vodka Heat Sandwich
The Crockett Vodka Heat combines crispy chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, hot honey and house vodka sauce. Botta serves its signature sandwiches on schiacciata, which it describes as crisp outside and soft inside. This one takes a chicken cutlet sandwich in a sweet-and-spicy direction.
