We ordered three pizzas at Botta Pizzeria in Viera—and that was only part of the meal.
There was also Caesar salad, antipasto, whipped mascarpone dip, homemade meatballs and the Crockett Vodka Heat sandwich. We gave ourselves plenty to try, and we really loved this place.

What We Ordered at Botta Pizzeria Viera
Don’t Skip the Starters
Pizza may have been the biggest part of our order, but the starters deserve their own space here.
Whipped Mascarpone Dip & Herb Oil
The whipped mascarpone dip comes with warm Neapolitan bread, fingerling potatoes, red onions, Pecorino Romano and herb oil.
Mascarpone is a mild, creamy Italian cheese, and this dish gives you more than a bowl of dip and a few pieces of bread. The potatoes, onion and Pecorino make it a different way to start a pizza dinner.

House Meatballs
Our order also included homemade meatballs. Botta’s menu lists the appetizer as four house-made meatballs with slow-simmered tomato sauce and warm bread, with fresh ricotta available as an addition.
Meatballs, sauce and bread are a pretty easy combination to make room for—even when you already have pizza coming.
Caesar Salad & Antipasto
We ordered Caesar salad and antipasto salad, too.
The Caesar includes crisp romaine, house-made Caesar dressing, Parmigiano, croutons and anchovy chimichurri. The antipasto salad featured italian meats and cheese on a bead of romaine lettuce. I would get these salads over and over again, they were delicious. All of their dressings are made in house.

Spinach & Mushroom White Pizza:
Our white-pizza order brought together mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, Pecorino and lemon zest.
If you usually gravitate toward mushroom pizza, this is one to look at. The cheese and vegetables take the place of a tomato-sauce-heavy combination, with lemon zest bringing a little citrus to the ingredients.
It also gave our order something different alongside the two meat-topped pizzas.
Spicy Rocco
The Spicy Rocco comes with San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, soppressata, capicola, pepperoni, Calabrian chilis, basil and hot honey. That’s three Italian meats, peppers and a sweet finish all on one pizza. If your usual order involves asking for chili flakes or adding hot honey, this combination is probably going to catch your attention.
Hot Honey Vodka Pizza: The Star for Me
The Hot Honey Vodka pizza was the star for me. It combines house-made vodka sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, ricotta, hot honey and basil and this is the one I’d point you toward if you’re deciding what to order at Botta. Creamy vodka sauce, pepperoni and that sweet heat from the honey? Absolutely my kind of pizza.
Do not sleep on the sandwiches
The Crockett Vodka Heat Sandwich
And yes, after all that, there was still a sandwich in our order.
The Crockett Vodka Heat is stacked with crispy chicken cutlets, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, hot honey and house vodka sauce, served on Botta’s signature house bread. Chicken cutlets and vodka sauce already give you a lot to work with. Add pepperoni, mozzarella and hot honey, and you can see why we wanted to include this one. It’s also a reason to look beyond pizza when you visit. If someone at your table is in a sandwich mood, there’s a whole chicken cutlet section to explore.
Two Pizza Styles to Know About
One useful detail from Botta’s menu: it offers two pizza styles.
Napoli: Described as soft and airy, with a 24-hour fermentation.
Roman: Described as light and crisp, with a 48-hour fermentation.
The menu we reviewed lists Roman pizzas as available Friday and Saturday only, in limited batches until sold out. Check availability when ordering if that’s the style you want. And yes... they really do sell out.
