The Best Greek Food in Brevard County, FL is in a Dilapidated Truck (And We’re Not Joking)

Beachside Gyros

If you’re a foodie in Brevard County, you know the golden rule: the more unassuming the building, the better the food.

Nothing proves this theory quite like Beachside Gyros in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. If you aren’t looking for it, you’ll drive right by. Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall parking lot at 750 E Eau Gallie Blvd, you’ll find a weathered, dilapidated truck. It’s seen better days, it’s a little rusty, and it is currently cranking out the most authentic Greek masterpieces on the Space Coast.

Meet Maria: The Heart of the Truck

Meet Maria

The magic behind the window is Maria. She recently took over the business from her Uncle Jimmy, continuing a family legacy of traditional Greek cooking. Maria isn't just a business owner; she’s quite literally the friendliest person you’ll ever meet. She treats every customer like they’re sitting in her own family kitchen in Greece.

The Menu: Homemade & Massive

We didn’t just stop for a snack; we went for the full experience. Everything here is homemade with literal love, and you can taste the difference in every bite.

  • The Staples: We started with the creamy hummus, crisp Greek salad (loaded with feta!), and those tender, hand-rolled stuffed grape leaves.

  • The Main Event: The Lamb Gyros. Consider this your warning: these things are massive. I’m talking fresh-off-the-spit meat, pillowy pita, and Maria’s famous tzatziki that is so good it’ll change your life. You’re going to need two hands and a serious stack of napkins.

  • The Grand Finale: Whatever you do, save room for the Baklava. It’s flaky, honey-soaked, and the perfect way to end a meal.

Pro-Tip: Don’t eat in your car. Grab your Greek feast and drive two minutes East to the end of Eau Gallie Blvd. Enjoy your gyro at Canova Beach with a view of the Atlantic. It’s a five-star meal on a paper plate.
