Comfort Food: Artichoke Dip


Artichoke Dip Ingredients


  • 1 9-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained

  • 13 ounce can spinach, drained

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

  • 1/2 cup yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon Italian herb seasoning or Italian house herb mix (page 37)

  • Pinch of Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 cup green onion tops or chives, sliced thin

  • 2 tablespoons sherry

  • 2 pinches salt


Directions For Artichoke Dip


  1. Lay artichokes on paper towels to dry. Chop and set aside

  2. Lay spinach on paper towels and press all the moisture out or roll into a clean towel and twist to remove any moisture

  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and blend well. Stir in spinach and artichoke hearts

  4. Cover and refrigerate several hours to allow flavors to blend

  5. Top serve hot, place in oven proof dish, top with Parmesan cheese and heat in oven at 250 for about 20 minutes
