  1. Preheat oven to 375°

  2. Using a large ovenproof skillet or a 9-10 inch cake pan, melt the butter over medium high heat. Add apples, cinnamon and sugar. Reduce heat to 300°, stirring until apples are slightly softened.

  3. Remove skillet from heat and pour pancake batter over the apples. Bake about 35 minutes until brown and puffy.

  4. Tip out on large plate. Cut the pancake into wedges. Serve dusted with powdered sugar or caramel and whipped cream.
